Additionally, during a nineteen month stint with a $60 billion pension fund, his demonstrable alpha of trades and recommendations translated into 750 basis points, 4x his risk budget and a 60% win rate within a broader industrial mandate that encompassed manufacturing, aerospace defense and transportation. Mr. Langenberg is a navy veteran, rising from seaman recruit to Chief Petty Officer. He was later commissioned as a Naval Intelligence Officer. In addition to sea service, he built considerable knowledge of geopolitics, logistics and trade. He later re-constituted, led, and served as Chairman of the Civic Affairs Committee at the University Club of Chicago, bringing in notable speakers in finance, politics, global affairs and culture.
He is a graduate of Saint Norbert College (BA, Economics) and Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Masters, Finance and Transportation). Affiliations include the CFA Institute and American Council on Germany.
